Actor, Producer, Director David J. Garfield was educated in California, and attended Cal Arts University for theater and drama.

Born 1969 in Manhattan,  NY (son of actor Kurt Garfield and related to screen legend John Garfield), as a 3rd generation actor Dave became a film-maker at age thirteen.   At fifteen he formed a successful juggling act with his younger brother known as  "The Garfield Brothers" and they performed live on local Seattle TV. 

SAG status since '94 after appearing on ABC's "My So Called Life".  As well as  WGA with several screenplays, he has been acknowledged  for his work in television and  film as an actor,  director, writer and producer.  In 2006 he formed an east coast film production company.  Presently producing 35mm feature films and attached to several other film and television projects he is always passionately striving to do more.

Game Industry Background: 

Worked for and trained by Microsoft as a software technician and developer, David has also programmed for video game companies: Atari, Lucasfilm, Southlogic Studios, GT Interactive, Cavedog,  and Humongous Entertainment to name just a few.   He  independently developed, published, and produced his own non-violent video game help website: WonderDogSoftware.Com.  A company that provides game alternatives and educates families around the globe of the importance of the ESRB (Game Ratings System).  He supports children's charities with proceeds from his company.
